Zakariya (Peace be Upon Him)

Zakariya was a Prophet of Allah who was known for his devotion and his miracle of having a child in old age.

Zakariya was a Prophet of Allah who lived during the same time as Maryam, the mother of Isa. He was a righteous man who preached the message of monotheism and the worship of Allah. Zakariya and his wife were both old and childless, but Allah blessed them with a son, Yahya, as a miracle. Yahya went on to become a Prophet of Allah and a righteous man (Quran: Surah Maryam 19:13-14).
