Yusuf (Peace be Upon Him)

Yusuf was a Prophet of Allah who was known for his wisdom and piety. He was the son of Ya'qub and the younger brother of twelve other sons.

Yusuf was the son of Ya'qub and was known for his wisdom and piety. His brothers were jealous of him and plotted to kill him, but instead sold him into slavery. Yusuf ended up in Egypt, where he was bought by the captain of the guard and taken to the house of the Pharaoh. However, the wife of the captain of the guard tried to seduce Yusuf, but he refused and was subsequently thrown into prison. While in prison, Yusuf interpreted the dreams of two of his fellow prisoners, which later led to his release and appointment as the chief treasurer of Egypt. Yusuf's ability to interpret dreams was a gift from Allah, and it eventually led to his reunion with his family and the forgiveness of his brothers (Quran: Surah Yusuf 12:38).
