The first human and Prophet created by Allah. Adam was created from clay and placed in the Garden of Eden. He was commanded not to eat from the tree of knowledge, but he was deceived by Satan and ate from the tree. Adam repented and was forgiven by Allah.
According to Islamic belief, Adam was the first human created by Allah. He was created from clay and was placed in the Garden of Eden. Allah taught him the names of all things, and Adam was commanded not to eat from the tree of knowledge. However, Adam was deceived by Satan and ate from the tree. He then repented and was forgiven by Allah. Adam and his wife, Hawwa (Eve), were sent down to Earth as a result of their disobedience. Adam taught his children the message of monotheism and obedience to Allah. He died and was buried in a place that is unknown (Quran: Surah Al-Baqarah 2:30-39, Surah Al-Hijr 15:26-33, Surah Al-A'raf 7:19-25, Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:27-32).
